Summary

Tracing the common, the territories that inhabit us testifies to a broad process of dialogue and exchange of knowledge between a group of 9 organizations and 29 agents from various territories that took place between 2021 and 2022. Its pages compile the reflections between the communities and their territories, as well as the tools for working with collective mappings shared by the Iconoclasistas collective.

Its last pages include the maps resulting from the collective work promoted by 5 of the participating organizations in the communities of San Mateo del Mar and Huautla de Jiménez in Oaxaca, Felipe Carrillo Puerto in Quintana Roo, Tenosique in Tabasco and Ocomantla in Puebla. It is these work experiences that reveal how the communities know and coexist with the diverse ways of life with whom they share the territory, guide their culture and behavior in their presence and seek to identify the situations that impact the territory.
